AI Analyzes Your Surveys

You can use Artificial Intelligence to analyze the texts inputted in response to your surveys.

When you set up a survey form, one of the 12 types of fields you can include in your survey is the paragraph field. This allows the respondent to express their answer with a whole paragraph of text if needed. It is a type of field commonly used in satisfaction surveys to gather more detailed opinions than a simple rating.

You now have the option to have the inputted paragraph of text analyzed. For this, you will find in the field options a new setting “Convert to sentiment level, with AI.” If you set this option to “YES,” the entered text will be analyzed, and a score reflecting the level of satisfaction expressed in the text will be calculated.

Note that this processing will only occur under real survey invitation conditions, not when you are simply previewing the survey.

For the person responding to your survey, there is no difference; they will not see the sentiment score, which will be calculated only later.

After the survey responses have been validated, the paragraph fields that had the option “Convert to sentiment level” will be analyzed using an OpenAI API. The text inputs will therefore be sent to OpenAI. As we mentioned regarding the automatic creation of questions, in accordance with OpenAI's Security and Privacy Statement: “Data submitted via the OpenAI API is not used to train OpenAI's models or improve OpenAI's service offerings.” See also: Privacy Policy.

For each relevant paragraph field, ExperQuiz will add a new field in your results, and this field will carry the calculated sentiment value, ranging from 1 (very dissatisfied) to 5 (very satisfied).

In this example, the two submitted texts were fairly dissatisfied and received a score of 2.

This feature can be very useful for analyzing feedback from large volumes, for raising alerts if necessary, and for calculating an average satisfaction level from free text entries. But above all, do not use it to avoid reading all the feedback you receive, as this would deprive you of very valuable information.
