General Concepts
ExperQuiz allows you to create and manage your users. These can include your employees, trainees participating in training, service providers, students, clients, etc.
Users and Contacts
We distinguish between users and simple contacts.
Users are the individuals you have registered on ExperQuiz and therefore have an account, a login ID (their email address or mobile number), and a password. They can log in to ExperQuiz and access the features offered, within the limits defined by the administrator.
Contacts are individuals you have invited to take an assessment without creating an account for them. They received an invitation containing a link that allows them to start the assessment. They do not have a login ID or password, nor do they have an account on ExperQuiz. This could include, for example, job candidates. In some cases, you may only have provided an email address or a mobile number. You may one day transform contacts into active users.
User Groups
Users can be organized into user groups in a very simple and flexible manner. You can create a new group and assign some of your users to it. A user may belong to no group or may belong to multiple groups.
The meaning you give to your groups can follow different logics. For example, a group for each of your establishments in regions, groups for different professions, for qualification levels, or simply a group for a class of students or for those participating in a training. You can absolutely have different logics coexist.
Groups are mainly used for:
- When you invite users to an evaluation, training, assessment cycle, or e-learning module: you can filter the list of your users according to a particular group and invite all or part of the users in that group.
- To give certain users free access to a questionnaire, you can define the visibility of the questionnaire for users belonging to specific groups.
- To define a user’s permissions, you can refer to certain groups, in relation to which the user can use certain functions.
User Status
A user is characterized by their status, which can be:
- Active: the user can access their ExperQuiz account and use the offered features.
- Inactive: the user cannot log in to ExperQuiz, possibly temporarily.
- Deleted: the user's account has been deleted, but their data remains accessible.
- Created: the user account has been created, the information has been filled out, but no invitation has been sent.
- Invited: the account has been created, the information filled out, and an invitation has been sent to the user, but they have not finalized the account creation.
You can filter your users based on the status of their accounts.
