Hierarchical Access and Cross-Access
For several of the fundamental entities of ExperQuiz, there is a natural hierarchical organization.
For example, a question bank contains questions, so it is natural to access it in a descending manner, by selecting a bank and then going to the Questions tab to see the questions in that bank.
The same can be said for accessing Questionnaires or Evaluations, as well as Media or Trainings.
However, it is often convenient to be able to access these entities in a cross manner, that is to say across all banks. This is represented in the following figure:
You can search among all the questions from all the banks for those that have a specific tag or a specific word in the text. Or you may want to list the trainings in chronological order regardless of the bank to which they relate.
The following entities can be accessed in a cross manner:
- Questions
- Questionnaires
- Media
- Trainings
- Evaluations
Additionally, the following entities are not associated with a particular bank:
- Cycles
- Surveys
- E-learning modules
- E-learning paths
