Soft-Skills Questions
Experquiz offers two types of questions that allow for the evaluation and measurement of soft skills. These questions have the unique characteristic of not having right or wrong answers:
[1] Unique soft-skills: the user must choose ONE answer from a list of proposed answers.
[2] Multiple soft-skills: the user must choose SEVERAL answers from a list of proposed answers.

[3] Each answer is associated with a tag that refers to soft skills.
Each soft skill will be measured by the number of tags corresponding to the answers selected by the user.
To learn more about managing the tags for soft-skills questions, you can refer to our dedicated page.
As with other types of questions, it is possible to shuffle the answers, add an explanation, and set a rule by clicking the "More settings" button:

From the learner’s perspective, the display is the same as for a traditional multiple-choice question. A questionnaire can include both traditional questions and soft-skills questions.
Example with the single-choice soft-skill
In the question: “How would you react if you were offered to accompany a scientific team for 3 months in Antarctica?”, we have added the following answer options with the accompanying tags:
- P1: “3 months with a dozen strangers, in the dark and at -80°C, no way!” with the tags “homebody”, “instinctive”
- P2: “Awesome, an adventure that will get me out of my routine, when do we leave?” with the tags “instinctive”, “bold”, “curious”
- P3: “Why not? Learning sometimes requires certain sacrifices, I’ll think about it.” with the tags “thoughtful”, “curious”
Here are the results of the counting of each tag, and therefore soft skill, based on the option that was chosen by the user:
| Result | homebody | instinctive | bold | curious | thoughtful |
| P1 | 100% | 100% | 0% | 0% | 0% |
| P2 | 0% | 100% | 100% | 100% | 0% |
| P3 | 0% | 0% | 0% | 100% | 100% |
Example with the multiple-choice soft-skill
We take the same example as above, but considering now that the question is multiple-choice.
| Result | homebody | instinctive | bold | curious | thoughtful |
| P1 | 100% | 50% | 0% | 0% | 0% |
Why 50% for the soft-skill “Instinctive”? Because it was only selected once out of two possible options: P1 and P2.
| Result | homebody | instinctive | bold | curious | thoughtful |
| P1 and P2 | 100% | 100% | 100% | 50% | 0% |
Here, the user totals 100% for the soft-skill “Instinctive” because all the response options that referred to it (P1 and P2) were selected, and totals 50% for the soft skill “curious” because it was only selected once out of two possible options (P2 and P3).
At the end of a test that includes soft skills questions, an analysis in the form of a radar graph is presented to the user if the corresponding option has been checked among the questionnaire settings.
